Global Geneva

Human Rights Foundation

The Human Rights Foundation (HRF) is a nonpartisan organization devoted to defending human rights globally, with an expertise in the Americas. Grounding our work in a deep commitment to individual liberty, we aim to raise awareness about both the nature of freedom and the vulnerability of freedom around the world.

Global Policy Journal

Global Policy is an innovative and interdisciplinary journal bringing together world class academics and leading practitioners to analyse both public and private solutions to global problems and issues. It focuses on understanding globally relevant risks and collective action problems; policy challenges that have global impact; and competing and converging discourses about global risks and policy responses. It also includes case studies of policy with clear lessons for other countries and regions; how policy responses, politics and institutions interrelate at the global level; and the conceptual, theoretical and methodological innovations needed to explain and develop policy in these areas.

Poster for Tomorrow

Poster for Tomorrow is the main project of 4tomorrow, an independent, non-profit organisation based in Paris. Our goal is to encourage people, both in and outside the design community, to make posters to stimulate debate on issues that affect us all. In our previous two editions we have received over 4,000 posters from 81 countries and hosted more than 70 exhibitions in 5 continents.

University of Geneva

The University of Geneva is an institution devoted to research, teaching and dialogue. It is the site of academic creativity and the transmission of knowledge. Since its foundation in 1559 the UNIGE has developed ever higher ethical standards and steadily increased in quality and the will to innovation. Today it is one of Europe’s leading universities. The UNIGE also shares the international calling of its host city, Geneva, a centre of international and multicultural activities with a venerable cosmopolitan tradition. Its desire to expand its collaboration with partner institutions and broaden its appeal to researchers and students from around the world has made the UNIGE a "globalised university", a meeting place for academic disciplines and various cultures, and a forum for ideas.

YaleGlobal Online

YaleGlobal Online is the flagship publication of the Yale Center for the Study of Globalization. The magazine explores globalization and the growing interconnectedness in economics, security, trade, politics and the environment. Our aim is to analyze and promote debate on all aspects of globalization through publishing original articles, original graphics and multi-media presentations. YaleGlobal also republishes, with a brief comment, important articles from other publications that illuminate the many sides of this complex phenomenon.

Geneva Declaration

The Geneva Declaration on Armed Violence and Development represents a high-level diplomatic initiative designed to support states and civil society actors to achieve measurable reductions in the global burden of armed violence in conflict and non-conflict settings by 2015 (and beyond).
